Airbrush Spray Tanning
Look tan without harming your skin. Sunless tan does not produce melanin like a natural tan. Instead it uses DHA, a sugar molecule that creates a tanned appearance in the upper layer of the skin (the epidermis). This stimulates a chain of reactions in the cells that creates a browning of the epidermis. After the 20 minute appointment, the gradual tanning process takes 4-6 hours and the depth of color depends on the amount of proteins in the skin and the level of DHA applied. So your color is specific for your skin.

Just like a natural tan, the Sunless Tan last 5-7 days. The other great benefit is its ingredients. Lutein, an antioxidant with anti-aging qualities; Vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals to prevent and diminish fine lines and wrinkles while it also softens skin and moisturizes from within; and Aloe Vera to sooth the skin. There are two parts to the California Tan solution we use. The first is the DHA product which is clear and works with the skins proteins to brown the skin. The 2nd is the cosmetic bronzer which washes away in the first couple of washings but allows you to see an immediate change in skin color and gives the DHA time to work .

Your final color will be different than the initial color because one is a topical bronzer and the other is actually changing your color.
