Help Us Make A Difference
On Friday, January 25, 2008, Frederick lost another amazing woman. Mary Sayers is the third friend in my life that has lost her battle with breast cancer at an early age.

In memory of Gitte Larson, Leslie Garelick and Mary Sayers and all who have lost their battle, in honor of all those still courageously fighting and in support of the bond among girlfriends that strengthens during these times, I am announcing our support for the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer.

On May 3-4, 2008, the Washington area walk will be held. The walk is 39.3 miles over a two-day period. To participate in the event, walkers must raise a minimum of $1,800 each.

One of our Golden Orchid clients, Amy-Catherine McEwan, is teaming up with her friend, and breast cancer survivor, Brigitte Farrell to participate in this amazing event.

The last Friday of the month, Golden Orchid employees have an opportunity to wear jeans and donate $5.00 to the charity of the month. From January – April before the march, those donations will go in support of Amy-Catherine and Brigitte's walk.

We wish them well and welcome our guests to join us by donating. Cash or checks are welcome. (Checks made payable to Avon Walk For Breast Cancer).
